No creative experience is needed — everyone’s voice matters.’
Sculpture + Art Workshops
We are bringing together our stories and experiences and sharing them in a public exhibition, to be held at The Lock Up Gallery in Newcastle in February 2027!
Within the gallery, we are going to build a replica flat - maybe the kind of space where you might live or work!
Every surface, every furnishing will be engraved, etched, stitched or painted with your stories (or excerpts from your stories).
The point of this is to bring our stories - which have previously been perceived to be perverse, or subverse (and censored) and bring them into a familiar, domestic environment. We are contrasting the subverse with the everyday. Hoping that the public will take notice, consider our experiences, and rethink their belief and stigmas against those who work in the sex industry.
But first we need to make the art together!
